I don’t consider myself very good at puzzles but my husband loves them and enjoys when we do them together. We have many Star Wars puzzles and this is one we received for Christmas and just finished two nights ago. Well, he did most of it. Usually I stick around for twenty minutes at the most until I find myself a little bored and frustrated at the remaining pieces that all seem to look the same.

Do you have any Star Wars puzzles? Do you like to do them multiple times or do you use puzzle glue?

 

Today is the day, folks! The Phantom Menace in 3D is finally playing at a theatre near you and just waiting for you to experience it’s awesomeness! Well, hopefully it’s awesome and not terribly distracting like Avatar was (I love that movie but didn’t like it in 3D). While browsing various photos on Tumblr I came upon this old Attack of the Clones poster. To this day it is still one of my favorite Star Wars posters and I’m disappointed that I never ended up purchasing it. The way their forbidden love is portrayed in this photo is haunting yet perfectly beautiful.

Was this poster one of your favorites as well? What do you like about it?

 

I’m not quite sure how I wasn’t aware that Star Wars now has it’s own Vinylmation series (you can see the full list of characters here). My mom surprised me with one and I got the Stormtrooper! Vinylmations are like McDonald’s Happy Meals for adults (even though kids collect them too). The excitement of purchasing one and not knowing which character you’ll end up with is thrilling. Or, I might just be obsessed. Here’s a photo I snapped of myself with my two newest Vinylmations. The other non-Star Wars figure is a character (who happens to be an oyster) from Disney’s Alice in Wonderland, one of my favorite movies.
